A current, government-issued photo ID — typically a driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID.

No. We are not attorneys. Notaries verify identity and witness signatures — they don't interpret documents or provide legal counsel.

After notarization (or after obtaining the appropriate state/federal copy of the document), the Apostille is issued by the relevant authority — typically the NJ Department of Treasury for state documents or the U.S. Department of State for federal documents. We coordinate the process for you.

As long as the notary can communicate with the signer and the signer understands what they are signing, the document language itself isn't the issue. We discuss specifics during scheduling.
